I was thrilled to discover that Kate was well versed in dowsing! We began in earnest today to help get me organized to gain better experience and practice with dowsing so that I can begin to rely on it as a technique for better understanding and healing.
She walked me through a lot of the basics, some of which I was moderately familiar, and some of which was new to me. We covered the basics, and the basic process to begin, and also discussed asking the appropriate questions to ensure getting the best, most accurate answer.
We began practicing with Storm's latest results of his fecal count. His original count was 500 eggs per graham, so Kate went ahead and put together a protocol for him which we completed at the last full moon. I had him rechecked last week, and he was down to 350 eggs per gram, which was a really great improvement for the first round.
Kate helped me to structure the questions accurately, and then we walked through each question together, and navigated to the next question based upon the results. Amusingly enough she was getting the same lack of confidence in her answers that I was getting in mine. It seemed to be purely a reflection of the lack of confidence I had in myself, and interpreting the results.
We put together a protocol for the next full moon, and within the process, it came about that Storm (and the rest of the herd) needed a little more gut support right now due to the colder weather.
Whatever we did, it seemed to have an effect because the herd was quiet and calm for dinner, and Simon and Scooter ate their entire meal, which they hadn't done in over a week.
I am excited to continue to explore dowsing and gain more confidence in my skills so that I can apply it to support all manner of challenges.
