Home Study Course - Roxy the Cat

We got the delight of chatting with Roxy the cat again. Roxy lives with Karen, and two other young cats, Chloe and Lily. They'll be living there for another 9 months before they leave to live with Karen's daughter.

Her essence is reserved, a bit of a princess, and she watches or oversees everything. She loves fuzzy balls, and things that make noise with bells. She seems to like catnip a lot, and enjoys grooming herself. I attempted to ask about the kittens, but got some confusing information back from her and was unable to sort out what she meant. I also got that it takes her a while to warm up to people.

Others on the call got that she has a larger personality than her size, someone got the statement "I am Husky" as in Husky like the dog, not husky fat, sort of a don't mess with me presence. She's the queen of the house, and would greatly appreciate more respect from the kittens. She likes to lounge in sunny places, and likes the cat toys. She also knows that she's mom's favorite, even if the kittens get attention too. She feels that Chloe disrupts her space, and took her sleeping spot. She would like more one on one time with Karen, when the kittens won't interrupt.

Karen confirmed that she does get annoyed with the kittens, and agreed to give her more of her own space so she can take breaks from the kittens as she wants. Karen also confirmed that she feels that she should get more respect from the kittens, though they like to play a lot and sometimes Roxy isn't in the mood to play. She is reserved with new people, and does enjoy grooming her coat a lot. She does really enjoy being petted, and likes to get massages and cuddles. She's also the overseer of the household, and always has a busy mind. she does take care of things, which is why the kittens sometimes stress her out.

Home Study Call - Sylvan the Dog

Sylvan is a 12 year old female large Sheltie owned by Kara since she was a puppy. Sylvan lives with her family, 2 sons and her husband, as well as 3 other dogs. The other dogs in the house include a 4 year old Chihuahua/Pappion mix named Finn, a Terrier/Maltese mix named Gemma, and a 2 yar old red mutt named Liberty.

We took our time meditating and then connected with Sylvan. I felt her essence as being curious, scampering around, with bright energy and very inquisitive. She enjoys being outside, and likes to bound along where ever she goes. She loves to play ball with the boys, and likes to chew on sticks.

Other students related the information that they got, talking about her essence as sparkly, gregarious, classy and ladylike, bright and playful, and very observant. She loves to run and jump, and told one person that her back doesn't hurt when she runs, so she loves to run everywhere. She likes to play ball, and likes laying on a blanket. She is the top dog, and keeps everyone in line, but is a peacemaker at the same time. She's confident and takes her job as being responsible for the household very seriously. She loves Kara's son Alexander, and also loves to eat wet food.

Kara relayed that she loves to keep everyone in line, and is very queen like. She's the nanna to the boys and takes good care of them, and sleeps in Alexander's room. She's got a lot of positive energy, and her mother's name was Sparkle. She loves balls and frisbees and likes to roll around in a jasmine bush that they have. She loves Gemma the best of the other dogs. She had a partner in crime that has passed over the rainbow bridge, and he loved to chew on sticks.

It was a simple call, but really straight forward. It was a delight to talk to Sylvan and her sparkly personality.
